A website redesign for a local nonprofit.

Overview: I was hired to redesign a website for a local nonprofit puppet company. This website is used by children and teachers to watch videos and play games featuring the puppet character Tuffy the Tiger.

My Role: UX Designer

Problem: Pain regarding endometriosis is often underestimated and hard to communicate to a user's medical team.

- Conducted extensive market analysis, comparing similar products such as PBS Kids and Sesame Street websites, to identify best practices in user-friendliness and engagement. - Reviewed relevant papers on children's website interaction, gaining valuable insights into effective design strategies for optimizing user experiences. - Utilized market research findings and academic literature to inform the redesign process and ensure the website's enhanced usability.

I created an interactive prototype to illustrate my data driven design decision...
- Developed low-fidelity wireframes and obtained feedback from the company CEO, which guided the direction of the redesign. - Created a design that had relatable colors and imagery to ensure it was simple and recognizable - Collaborated closely with the development team to create a high-fidelity prototype using Adobe Illustrator and Figma, ensuring feasibility and making necessary technical adjustments. - Iteratively refined the prototype based on feedback from the development team, resulting in a seamless and interactive user experience.
